Dr. Stephanie Caston has authored over 150 scientific papers and book chapters on topics ranging from orthopedic and musculoskeletal surgery, developmental orthopedic disease, minimally invasive procedures, advanced upper airway surgical techniques, as well as regenerative therapies including Stem Cells, IRAP and PRP.
Dr. Caston utilizes this unique knowledge daily as she applies her experience as a rider to her profession as a Veterinarian.

Dr. Lindsay Knott, DVM, DACVS, is a board-certified equine surgeon whose lifelong passion for horses. She completed internships at Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery in Weatherford, Texas, and Louisiana State University, followed by a large animal surgery residency at Michigan State University. In 2025, she achieved board certification as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (DACVS).
Her clinical interests include orthopedic and soft-tissue surgery, lameness, and post-operative rehabilitation, where she focuses on helping horses recover and return to soundness.

Dr. Brittland Hughes has focused on performance horses for 9 years. A graduate from The Ohio State University, Dr. Hughes has worked in the thoroughbred racing and hunter jumper industry. She has a passion for steeplechase horses.
Dr. Hughes is available for Sports Med services.

Dr. Wilson grew up on a small horse farm in Maryland where he learned to ride as part of 4-H. After obtaining his DVM from Ross University in 2020 he completed a surgical and medical internship at Marion Dupont Scott Equine Medical Center before going into private practice for 3 years at Green Glen Equine Hospital in southern Pennsylvania. He joined Performance Equine in 2025. When not at the clinic Dr. Wilson enjoys riding and helping his girlfriend Aly keep their 4 dogs entertained.

Dr. Hamrick grew up in the Carolinas just south of Charlotte. She graduated from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, then went on to complete two equine internships- a hospital internship for Rood & Riddle in Lexington, KY, and a rotating internship at University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. Ready to be closer to home, Brianna joined Performance Equine Vets in November, 2023.
