Digital Radiography

We offer Digital Radiograph Services that better enhance our ability to identify and treat lameness and other medical conditions. Digital Radiography is a better and more cost effective solution for owners and trainers.

Complete Exam- This Exam is a complete radiographic examination of the horse (Over 50 views). The Veterinarian will review and comment on all radiographs and provide them to the owner/trainer on a custom CD.

Farrier Exam- This Exam is intended to provide the Farrier with the information he/her needs to better balance the hoof.

 

 

Video Ultrasound

Our unique Ultrasound System allows the Veterinarian to record the complete examination in digital-video for indepth review and technical examination. We have customized software (VistaMetrix-EQ) that is used to perform measurements on tendons, follicles or for blood flow analysis.

Tendon Exam- The Veterinarian performs a complete examination of the area in question. The exam is recorded and measurements are performed if necessary. Clients receive a DVD with the complete Exam.

Pregnancy Check- The mare is checked for pregnancy and the exam is recorded as a Digital Video. The client receives a DVD of the exam. If the mare is far enough along the Veterinarian will use Dopplar Imaging to locate the heart-beat of the foal.

 

 

Video Endoscopy

Endoscopic Exam- Using Digital Video Endoscopy the Veterinarian can perform more complete endoscopic examinations of the horse. All exams are recorded to Digital Video and are made available to clients on DVD. Custom Software is utilized to perform measurement analysis if needed. If present the client can watch the entire exam on the screen.
