New for 2010, Performance Equine Vets has setup a Cryogenic Laboratory for the express intent of freezing semen and embryos for export to the European Union, Australia, China, South America and many other countries. Equine Cryogenics provides horse owners with a valuable tool for enhancing their equestrian ambitions.

Cryopreservation can be used as "insurance" while expanding the market for the genetics of a particular stallion or mare. The costs of importing and exporting horses is very expensive. The ability to combine cryogenic freezing with the embryo transfer process reduces costs significantly, opening the door to conduct world wide business for horse owners.
